graphic design principals

1.  Alignment- something on a page that should be visibly conected to something else on the page.
2.  Repitition-  repeeat design elements throughout the entire peice.
3.  Contrast-  If 2 items aren't the same, mkae them very different.
4.  Visual elements-  basic things that can be seen.
5.  Symetrical balance-  equal weight on both sides focused around the center point.
6.  Proportion-  the relationship between objects, or parts of a whole.
7.  Proximity-  realted items should not be grouped togeher.
8.  typography-  style sheets.
9.  dynamics-  the movementor aperent progression of elements in an orderly or not orederly fasion.
10.  hierarchy-  asigning a visual order or dominance to elemnents.
11.  emphasis-  to create a visual vocal point.
12.  unity-  comnbining all elements into a harmoniuos presentation.
13.  flash- brings animation and vectorgraphics to web pages.
14.  line- is any line connecting and 2 points.
15.  shape-  anything tnhst had hieth width and shape.
16. color theory-  teh visible sepctrum dimensions of color inherit qualities emotive qualities.
17.  white space-  the art of nothing
18.  color consistancy-  color should be used as a conjectutive amount of color throughtout the entire peice.
19.  rhythm-  repition of varying graphic elements can create a visual rhythm.
20.  denisity-  makeing sure htat there is the right amount of attention and anxiety.
